We are a company founded and run by researchers who are passionate about building cutting-edge instruments for the global scientific community. Our mission is to provide reliable, high-performance tools that support experimental research in physics and engineering.

We started with the development of the Digital Detector Emulator, and since then, we’ve designed and delivered a wide range of custom electronics and software systems used in major research facilities worldwide.

Our experienced team of engineers specializes in analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration, using the latest tools and technologies to create innovative solutions.

Each design begins with detailed SPICE-based simulations using up-to-date component libraries, enabling the exploration of alternatives and optimization for specific applications. Electronic and mechanical CAD systems are tightly integrated to support complex projects, such as custom detectors and boards embedded in satellites or telescopes. Automated checks ensure compliance with the latest design rules and internal standards.

Our entire design ecosystem is connected to an internal management platform that tracks component data, stock levels, procurement forecasts, and known usage recommendations, reducing the risk of errors. Production documentation is automatically generated from version-controlled sources, ensuring that all outputs are accurate, consistent, and up to date.

Our internal management system provides developers with immediate access to all relevant hardware design data, streamlining the transition into software and firmware development.

Most of our software development is conducted within Docker containers hosted on our internal servers. This containerized approach ensures consistency across development environments, simplifying onboarding and minimizing unexpected behavior. We maintain custom Docker images for the majority of the development IDEs used in our workflow. When containerization is insufficient, we adopt a virtual machine-based solution to meet specific requirements.

Every commit pushed to our repositories triggers an automated pipeline that executes predefined actions—such as running unit tests or initiating a release process—according to project-specific rules. This structure is based on modern Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices, which enhance software quality, maintainability, and deployment efficiency.

We exclusively partner with European-based PCB manufacturers, and all assembly processes are carried out entirely in Italy. Our production chain fully complies with the latest international standards, including RoHS, UL, and REACH certifications.

To support efficient and reliable production, we have developed a smart component management system that enables accurate forecasting of stock levels based on scheduled production runs and confirmed component orders.

To minimize supply chain risks, we maintain long-term agreements with leading European component distributors and plan procurement up to two years in advance for all scheduled manufacturing, ensuring continuity and reliability across all projects.

Our Products Testing Process

Board-Level Validation

Each individual board must pass a complete set of tests before it can be integrated into a final product.

Product Assembly with Full Traceability

We record the serial number of every board installed in each unit, enabling detailed traceability of production batches and calibration data.

Final Product Verification

The fully assembled product undergoes final testing, after which all calibration data is securely stored in our servers.

All of our products undergo comprehensive testing and calibration to ensure maximum reliability. Every step in the testing process must pass predefined validation criteria, and each individual board is fully tested prior to final assembly. This rigorous approach is fundamental to achieving high-quality, dependable results.

Testing procedures are fully managed by our Internal Management System, which stores detailed test protocols for each device. It coordinates and executes the tests—either at our facilities or at those of our certified assembly partners—and records all relevant data, including waveforms and calibration values.

Depending on the product, the system automatically generates either a detailed test report or a summary report, both of which can be made accessible to the end customer for full traceability and transparency.
