DT5490

Description

The DT5490 is a desktop, single-channel high-voltage regulator specifically designed for biasing Silicon Photomultipliers (SiPM). It delivers a digitally-controlled adjustable output between 20 V and 85 V with a maximum current of 10 mA and a 1 mV setting resolution, through a LEMO 00 output connector.

It integrates a built-in temperature-compensation controller with programmable coefficient, with a temperature probe connected through a 3.5 mm audio socket, and is fully managed over USB and Ethernet — making it a compact, stand-alone bench solution for stable SiPM biasing. The free ZEUS software allows control and monitoring of multiple modules from a single graphical interface.

Key Features:

  • Adjustable output: 20 ÷ 85 V, up to 10 mA, with 1 mV resolution.
  • Suitable for large SiPM matrices.
  • LEMO 00 output connector.
  • Very low ripple: <0.2 mVpp typical.
  • High-resolution monitoring of voltage and current.
  • Temperature compensation: built-in, with programmable coefficient and a 3.5 mm audio socket for the temperature probe.
  • Digital control: USB, Ethernet, UART and I²C interfaces.
  • ZEUS software: control and monitor multiple modules from one graphical interface.
  • Open-source libraries: C and Python, available on GitHub.
